Are You a JUST MATH Alumni?
Did Your Son/Daughter Take PreAlgebra, Algebra 1 or Geometry during the 2019-2020 school year (but is not formally preparing to take the SAT yet)?
WHY?
Some people say that the SAT isn't testing your math abilities, it's testing your reasoning and logic skills.
If that were true, then the reporting categories on the math section of the SAT score report would be "reasoning" and "logic."
But they aren't.
The reporting categories on the math section of the SAT are:
- Heart of Algebra
- Problem Solving and Data Analysis
- Passport to Advanced Math
- Getting learners oriented to mathematics content that may be on the math section of the SAT
- Teaching learners Power Strategies to tackle the mathematics content that may be on the math section of the SAT
- Providing learners with direct instruction on how to apply the Power Strategies to the mathematics content that may appear on the math section of the SAT.
- Version 1 Audience: Students who took PreAlgebra during the 2019-2020 school year.
- Version 2 Audience: Students who took Algebra 1 during the 2019-2020 school year.
- Version 3 Audience: Students who took Geometry during the 2019-2020 school year.
